Super Compact Conche for Premium Chocolates providing maximal flavor at minimal product residues after emptying for lowest cross contaminations and easy cleaning.
Our vertical single-shaft dry conches, type PVS are available in 1 lab and 3 industrial versions:
- PVS 150 with 75 up to 150 kg/batch
- PVS 2000 with 2000 up to 2500 kg/batch
- PVS 4000 with 3500 up to 4500 kg/batch
- PVS 6000 with 5500 up to 7500 kg/batch
Due to the modular shipping and on site assembly of the machine, it offers very easy rigging and installation even at very limited space conditions.
The vertical concept of the PVS is proven by hundreds of installed machines and chocolate lovers worldwide.
PVS conches are designed for high-quality chocolate formulations and provide outstanding results specially in producing dark & extra dark chocolates. It is applicable for absolute dry conching, liquefying, homogenizing and degassing of low and high fat contents in chocolates and compound masses.
Our new Retrofit Gearbox Solutions for PVS, PVW and PIV Conches upgrades machines to todays standards and allows them to operate also for the next decades, which confirms the HDM Conches to be an investment for generations.

The vertical design as well as the precise machined clearance of the conching tools provides the following benefits:
- maximum specific energy input, especially in producing dark & extra dark chocolates
- very good emptying of the conche
- minimal space requirements compared to conches with similar volume
- minimal product residues thanks to agitator & scrapers with small clearance
- minimal maintenance requirements due to special sealing and new gearbox design
- automatic conching cycle control with VFD main drive
Additionlly the spray homogenizing unit offers:
- continous creation of new surfaces by circulating the conche content 5 to 7 times per hour
- 40 times higher generated surface area compared to standard horizontal conches at an average droplet size of 1 mm
- unmachted flavor development and homogenizing effect

The new gearbox retrofit for our vertical single shaft conches type PVS, PVW & PIV improves their energy efficiency and offers state-of-the-art automation including the following benefits:
- 1 to 1 replacement of old gearbox fitting to the existing anker bolts
- Very compact dimensions for easy rigging and installation
- Customized shaft fitting to the existing conching arm
- CinchSeal© shaft seal prevents leakage as well as product loss and eliminates shaft damage
- Customized flange fitting to the existing bowl
- New controls with simple speed adjustment or automatic conching cylces (including automatic conching cycle control with VFD on main drive)
