Winnowing Plant FBR
EFFICIENCY FOR PROCESSING ROASTED, PRETREATED AND RAW COCOA BEANS
Winnowing Plant FBR
Description
The efficiency of a winnower has a direct influence on the economy of a production line. Preventing nib losses is the most important factor to consider. The “Bauermeister’s” state-of-the-art design and its perfect interaction of break-ing, product flow, sieve size and adjustable vacuum ensures a maximum yield with a clean separation of nibs and shells.
Winnowing Plant FBR
Constructional Features
- Gentle breaking and early separation of the product flows in order to avoid fine particles
- Preferred kind of crushing system (roll-reflex, centrifu-gal, double-roll return, etc.) can be selected on request
- Separating nibs and shell to several sizes and removal of shell by air flow
- Excellent separating result: nib loss 0,15–0,25%; shell in nibs <2% (1,75%)
- Perfectly matched screen sizes and aspiration channels ensure perfect separation; the height of the channels can be adjusted
- Aspiration box can be moved backwards for maintenance work – sieve box and rake can be cleaned easily
